Race reports 2007 - Sundsvall Raceway - August 19

Opposed to Saturday, the race action was holding a good pace with a minimum of delays and incidents. There would be 2 runs for Kjell, one in the early afternoon and another before the finals.

Kjell was holding the best time over all of the weekend with his 6.14 from Saturday. He didn't improve on his first Sunday attempt, tire shakes forced a throttle lift to get it back  in shape and the clocks stopped at 6.25 this time.

The next cars out after Kjell was Leif Helander and Håkan Fällström in their nitro Funny Cars, they should be faster, but struggled on Saturday, but this time veteran Leif Helander scored the only run of the event under 6 seconds posting a 5.59 putting Kjell back to second fastest.

The team decided to not making any more runs for the day since some engine damage was found during routine inspection, the racecar will be prepared and restored in the garage to make sure it's in good shape for the FIA finals at St Pod in England Sep 7-9.
