Race reports 2007 - Sundsvall Raceway - August 18

Saturday started out a bit slow and boring, being delayed by several track clean ups. It didn't last for ever, the action got started and in the afternoon Kjell made his first pass down the track testing the new transmission settings, he lifted the throttle a couple of times to correct some tire shakes and the blower belt broke at 300 meters leaving the engine out of boost and power, but still posted a fastest on the track 6.49 sec run.

The track conditions are still a bit rugged and slippery, but it will be better with more cars laying down rubber on it improving the quality and consistency for the evening run.

A new blower belt was fitted and Kjell had another go down the track, still some tire shakes and a throttle lift but a respectable 6.14 came up on the score board. A fast run considering the shake correction.

The race car is OK and ready for more runs tomorrow. The 6.14 run is fastest of all on track today, the potential challengers, nitro Funny Car drivers Leif Helander and Håkan Fällström didn't have any sucess in making good runs today.
